We are a team made up of an inclusion consultant, social skills mentor and assistive technology consultant that have the experience, specialist skill sets, passion and commitment to support you and your child to develop and demonstrate skills, abilities and knowledge to reach developmental milestones in their home and community.
SP Specialist Inclusion Services provides therapeutic support and consultation to support students and families with diverse learning, communication, and social-emotional needs. We work in partnership with schools and families to deliver collaborative, capacity-building interventions that foster independence, engagement, and real-world skill development.
We offer consultancy support in direct partnership with schools to deliver tailored, practical solutions that meet the unique needs of students and staff. This includes evidence-based Tuning Into Kids training, NCCD data collection and submission support, and specialist guidance with complex ILPs and personalised learning plans.
SP Specialist Inclusion Services is pleased to be able to offer a range of new and exciting skill-building programs. Our programs have been designed and developed as a result of the suggestions and recommendations identified through our biannual parent and community surveys.
What do we do and how do we do it?
We work in a family-centred model, this means we work with you, in a way that works for you and the needs of your family and child. Each family we work with is different and we tailor our approach to reflect your needs and your capacity.
We work with parents to develop a support model that addresses their child’s current needs and goals, as well as an engagement process to work with their child’s school, therapy and wider community network. This can include family planning meetings, coaching and training, care team meetings, one to one sessions and bespoke resource development.
